Introductory Ski Mountaineering – Chamonix
Six days designed to give you a fun introduction to one of the most wonderful ways to appreciate the mountains.
You will spend up to two nights in huts. Topics include, off-piste skiing techniques, use of skins/skiing uphill, glacier travel & crevasse rescue, avalanche awareness and use of transceivers, route choice, navigation, planning and weather. With ski guide Andy Owen.
