Ski Silvretta - Austria
A superb hut to hut tour through some of the finest ski touring terrain in the Alps.
The skiing is of moderate technical difficulty and is accessed from comfortable huts. This is an exciting tour for skiers relatively new to ski touring or experienced ski tourers not in search of a big physical challenge on their ski holiday.
Outline Programme
Weather and snow conditions will determine the exact itinerary, but our intended objectives for the week could include the following peaks: Piz Davo Lais 3027m, Breite Krone 3079m, Jamtalspitze 3156m, Dreiländer Spitze 3176m and Rauher Kopf 3101m.
This tour starts and finishes in the charming village of Galtür.

Skiing Ability
A confident parallel stance off-piste skiing and some experience of ski touring will enable you to enjoy this tour.
Fitness
For all tours you should be able to enjoy ascending for 4 - 5 hours with a 10 - 12 kg rucksack. You should try to walk, run, cycle or swim as often as you can in preparation. The fitter you are the more you will enjoy your week.
