Chamonix Day Tours - France
Chamonix early season day touring from a comfortable hotel base.
The snow is often excellent at this time of year, the crowds absent and the weather stable. We plan to enjoy a selection of superb tours in the Mont Blanc Massif, the Aiguilles Rouges, the nearby French pre-Alps and the Aosta Valley.
Six great day tours which could include the Col de Beugeant, Col du Cicle, Col du Passon, Col d’Argentière, Punta Croce, Punta de la Pierre and tours from the Vallée Blanche.

Skiing Ability
For successful participation on this course you should be a fit, experienced off-piste skier with some ski touring experience.
Fitness
For all tours you should be able to enjoy ascending for 4 - 5 hours with a 10 - 12 kg rucksack. You should try to walk, run, cycle or swim as often as you can in preparation. The fitter you are the more you will enjoy your week.
