Turkey - Ski Mt Ararat
5165m Mt Ararat lies in the far east of Turkey close to the border of Iran and Armenia and is a challenging ski mountaineering objective.
Although Turkey is better known for its beaches and places of historical interest it is a superb destination for a ski adventure. Many of the essential ingredients for a memorable ski holiday are present - wild unspoilt terrain, great summits, beautiful slopes and much of cultural interest.
We aim to ski Mt Ararat after warming up on several objectives around beautiful Lake Van.

Skiing Ability
For successful participation on this course you should be a fit, experienced off-piste skier with ski touring experience.
Fitness
You should be fit enough to enjoy long days of off-piste skiing on whatever snow type the mountain gives. You should try to walk, run, cycle or swim as often as you can in preparation. The fitter you are the more you will enjoy your week.
